About the program

Cooperative Oncology, Examined Through Āyurveda.

What is Cooperative Oncology?

Despite major advances in modern oncology, many patients continue to experience treatment-related toxicity and diminished quality of life. The Cooperative Oncology model — supported by the PPHS Foundation — addresses this gap by redefining the parameters of clinical evidence. By uniting scientific rigor with the epistemic logic of classical Śāstra, interventions are chosen for systemic efficacy rather than allegiance to a single discipline.

Why Āyurveda, why now.

Āyurveda offers a highly structured framework for personalized medicine with profound scope in both curative and supportive oncology — from mineral rasaśāstra formulations and immunomodulatory rasāyana, to pathya-apathya dietary regulation and multimodal supportive care incorporating sattvāvajaya mind-regulation. This summit unites modern oncologists and traditional physicians to adapt research methodologies that can measure and integrate these frameworks into mainstream care.

“Towards a collaborative, patient-centred future in cancer care, redefining evidence.”
